Success and happiness are not just knowledge or luck.
Your ability to be successful and happy can be influenced not only by your knowledge, but also by what you believe about success and happiness and what you think you are worthy to achieve. Your core beliefs about being good enough and deserving to be successful and truly happy come from your childhood.
Everything that you experienced in the past and the relationships you had and still have with family members, especially your parents, influences your current adult life. Any injustices or difficulties that have occurred in your family history are like a silent force working through the generations. They can prevent you from having happiness, success and fulfilment.
Family history influences your success.
Whatever happened in your family history, you take this unknowingly as your truth. And now as an adult, you may still use these patterns, often unconsciously. The relationship you have with your parents is, in many ways, a metaphor for your life. If you think you received much from your parents, you also get a lot from life. The feeling that your parents have given you too little usually results in the feeling that you are getting too little from life. This could also include feelings of not being gifted enough by your parents, which results in the feeling that you still get too little. No matter how much you have, how much you know, how hard you work, you always feel that it’s not enough. This can lead to negative thinking that you don’t deserve to make your dreams come true.
The power of your beliefs:
To change negative thinking and limiting beliefs, you need to change your mindset first. Mindset is your vibration, energy and frequency. As Nikola Tesla said, “If you wish to understand the universe, think of energy, frequency and vibration”. That is for me a definition of success in every area of life: personal, business, finance and even love. Before you take an action, Mindset affects what you attract and the results you get. To change an outcome, you need to change the mindset first, and then take an action.
Mindset is 80% of your success and 20% is taking an action. Mindset includes your worthiness and the quality of your beliefs. If you have a lot of doubts, fears about yourself, it can stop you from succeeding in business. Following your doubtful, limiting beliefs can prevent you from true success, as you fall short of feeling fulfilled, worthy and good enough. In order to change your mindset, you need to clear negative thoughts that are related with your past experiences of failure, feeling not good enough or not worthy. Shifting mindset is not only changing your thoughts, but also changing your feelings and emotions.
Having a clear vision and purpose for your life is a first step, but not enough to succeed. You need to feel your happiness in every cell in your body. When you consistently feel all the positive emotions that are related with your definition of success, it will help you to achieve your goals.
To make it easier for you, take a second now and consider how you are feeling in all the areas of your life:
- Where are you feeling joyful, happy and excited?
- Where are you feeling doubtful, confused and overwhelmed?
- Are you blocking your feelings because it is too confronting to admit how are you feeling?
It is important to learn more about how to let go of negative thoughts, unpleasant feelings and bring in real happiness that attracts your success.
