Everyone is born psychic, but not everyone chooses to develop their psychic abilities. Many people use their intuition daily to make decisions based on feelings and hunches. The more you listen to your intuition, that gut feeling which is your inner compass, the more feedback it will give you. Therefore, you need to practice trusting your intuition and pay attention to how your unconscious mind tells you information. For some, it is a simple knowing in the quiet moments of meditation. For others, it may be a gut feeling, a body sensation, or an inner knowing. The unconscious mind can use any of your senses to communicate; these include the six following senses:
Clairvoyance involves isolated images or symbols you can see in your mind’s eye.
Clairaudience involves hearing words or sounds in your mind
Clairsentience can arise as physical or emotional feelings, or being drawn to sounds outside your body.
Claircognizance arises as a knowing, you don’t know how you know, but you know! Trust this.
Clairalience is the ability to smell, and can also give psychic information, whether simple or complex.
Clairgustance is taste, and is far less common than the other senses. However, some psychics are known to get certain tastes in their mouths, which can be interpreted as relatable information to their sitter.
There are so many different ways you can practice using your intuition. Some are listed below:
Traffic: If you live in a city with frequent traffic reports, try to guess which roads are bad and why. This works even better if you have two routes to get home, each with an equal chance of having delays. You can guess which roads to use to get home faster and then check Google Maps.
Shopping: Try to guess where you will get the best deals, follow your hunches, and validate the facts after shopping.
Parking: Let your intuition guide you to the best parking spot! Busy times are great for this exercise! Trust what arises within you.
Telephone: As soon as the phone rings, see who pops into your mind first as to who it could be!
Sports: Try to guess what team will win and what the scores will be without knowing anything about the game or teams!
The trick is to find something you care about or cannot know for sure based on prior knowledge and experience that you can get feedback on. Once you have feedback, pay attention to the difference in feelings between what proved to be correct and what proved to be wrong. Take notice if you have ignored your intuition and see if you later regret not acting upon it. And be aware of how that information came to you so that you do not ignore it the next time it happens.
Learn to listen to feedback from your body on the psychic hits you get. One of the best psychic development techniques is learning to tell when you are getting the right or wrong information. Pay attention!!
The more you trust yourself and your intuition, the more information you will receive. This ‘knowing’ will become more and more definite, and you may want to start passing this information on. I suggest finding an excellent development group to sit in—one where you can develop your abilities to the point where you may use them to help others. And remember, always ask for a person’s permission before you share any psychic information with them.
Honesty is always the best policy in this line of work. Psychic abilities are there for anyone to develop. You just have to start practising and have fun with them!
