Spiritual awareness is something we can all learn to utilise in our day-to-day lives. Most of us have experienced synchronistic ‘what the f*ck’ moments in our lives. Those things that are so far left of field and the things that make you scratch your head and question everything! Although, it feels like the more you question such ‘strange’ occurrences, the more questions that are left unanswered.
We likely won’t find all the answers to understanding spirituality in our lifetime. Our human existence requires us to operate and function in our world without having all the answers to what may lie beyond our human experience. How do we make peace with that deep inner knowing that we come from stardust when the human experience is so dense compared to the ethereal experiences of the spiritual seeker? Can we unlock these experiences ourselves, or do we need others to unlock them for us?
There is a famous saying that goes, ‘when the student is ready, the teacher will appear’. Is this teacher a formal one? Not necessarily. We are all both students and teachers. There are beautiful nuggets of gold and lessons to be learned and passed on within each moment shared, each experience lived, and each connection we make with another soul. Some of these lessons are huge and right in your face. They can be difficult and tricky lessons, while others are more subtle and gentle. The life lessons I have learned and am still learning are the foundations that have led me to formally teaching psychic and mediumship development.
Throughout my life, experiences have led me to where I am today, and it is through my own experiences I have been able to inspire my students to reach for the stars. To remember who they are, their place in our world, and understand they are here to share their innate gifts in their corner of the world to inspire others simply by living and standing in their truth and power.
My spiritual awareness levels were blocked for years due to growing up in a very religious household (ironic, huh?!) Although I had quite a few spiritual experiences as a young child, they were quickly disregarded and not acknowledged by my family. Fortunately for me, these experiences stuck in my mind. They were always there, lurking in the background of my thoughts. Again, in my early 20s, I had several pretty intense ‘ghostly experiences’ when I lived in London. Back then, I was still somewhat freaked out by these experiences because of my religious upbringing. So, once again, I pushed these experiences away. Until one day, I decided to get a reading that completely blew me wide open and triggered the most significant spiritual awakening of my life. (So far, anyway.)
My spiritual awareness levels seemingly instantaneously expanded beyond what I thought I was capable of. And then it dawned on me: Spirit had tried to get through to me all my life. After the reading, I struggled to settle for a few weeks. I grappled with my newfound spiritual awareness. However, I was certain I could no longer go back to my ‘old ways’ of thinking and feeling. There was life after death. My world changed forever!
In the meantime, we must create our own experiences to expand our spiritual awareness in remembrance of who we are at our core. Connect with like-minded souls and nature, meditate, journal, dance, laugh and play. Don’t take life too seriously, and remember to have fun! Expand into your spiritual awareness by cultivating that inner knowing.
That little whisper inside of you simply knows you are made of stardust and an intrinsic and valuable part of our Universe!
