Remember when you used to dream of having an amazing mission in your life, the one where you own your own business and do wonderful things to help people? In your heart, you knew this was where you would end up. You would do the career thing for a little while until, one day, you miraculously morphed into the person living that dream life.
However, as time went by, your dream, although still alive, started to fade and look less and less likely to happen this year or next. You still hadn’t identified your big mission in life, and it became a background thing that would still happen at the right time. Meanwhile, life continued, your career grew, and so did your comfort level.
By this point, as you reach new levels in your career, you wonder why that mission hadn’t ever popped into your head. Where was the crystal clear clarity of ‘yes, this is what I am going to do now’. You know that clarity would be followed by the world magically opening up for you. Where you just knew you would be a superstar in your business doing great things for people? Even as you read this, you find yourself asking – why hasn’t that happened?
Here we are in 2022, and everything is changing at an alarming rate, and you are more assured that you want to contribute in a meaningful way in an awakening world. At the very least, have some mastery of your own life and protection over what may come. Yet where is that mission of mine?
I hear you loud and clear. Big change is upon us during this decade, and more and more people will be answering their soul calling as an alternative economy is being created, attracting like-minded souls.
However, what if I told you there is one mistake that prevents you from getting into that mission of yours, and that mistake can easily be corrected? Only once you address this do things change for you. Would you want to know what that mistake was?
I know you really want to know or even need to know as you want to move forward quickly and easily. I know what it feels like because I made this mistake as well, and so many people I know make this mistake.
What is the mistake? It is waiting! Something so simple can result in continually being stuck, confused and sometimes going around in circles. Those born with a purpose, which is you if you are reading this, find themselves waiting for a miracle intervention from the Universe to provide all the information you need to have crystal clear clarity. How many people do you know who are in the same boat? They are wasting away in jobs, sometimes great jobs but wanting more, but it never
seems to happen. What are they doing? They are waiting! They are waiting for more information, waiting for the right time, waiting for an opportunity to drop in their laps and waiting for everything to come to them.
I did this. I spent years in a corporate career in highly sought-after jobs, but I was waiting for more, waiting for something better. I knew I had a mission to fulfil in this lifetime, but I didn’t know what. I kept on in my comfort zone, moving up in my career, hoping my mission would come to me one day and I would leave and go straight into a successful business doing something meaningful. Did it happen that way? No, it didn’t, but something more life-changing happened. I realised the biggest problem in my life was waiting.
Fortunately, I came to a point where I was tired of waiting. I was tired of working for others, having no meaning in my life, and being tired of being stuck. Ironically that state of being tired is what woke me up. I realised the only way to get out of this loop was to take action toward my soul mission. So I took one action step, and that step led to another, then another, and then another.
An amazing thing happened; everything started to open up for me after taking that first step. I was presented with new learning opportunities, met different people who helped propel my growth, and learned how to start a business. I fell flat on my face a few times and messed things up here and there, but I created what I wanted.
Once all the elements that I was learning were in place, I could hear and Answer my Soul Calling with absolute clarity. This was a life-changing moment. Taking purposeful action toward my dream was the only way I could have gotten to where I am today. I had to show the Universe that I was serious and wanted to live and breathe my mission. Taking action toward our dream opens up the energy for more to come to lead you to that dream. When we wait, we are not moving forward, and we are not energetically invested in any outcome.
In hindsight, this is now very obvious to me, but at the time, I didn’t realise that I was hindering myself from moving forward. I could have saved myself a lot of trouble and been on my path sooner, and you can be on your path sooner as well, simply by moving into purposeful action.
You don’t even need to know your mission to move out of waiting – you need to take a step on the journey by identifying what you can learn now to help you get started.
If you have always planned to have a business based on your mission, ask yourself, ‘What skills will I need to have a business, what should I learn, or what type of network would I need to build’. Invest your time in learning and accumulating knowledge in your interest area. If you are lost on where to start, find someone to help you identify your purpose, gifts and passion in life. They will get you closer to your mission. The most important thing is to take purposeful action and get out of the waiting room because the only person who will get you into your mission is you. You do this by energetically investing in that direction. Only then will those miraculous opportunities and synchronicities come. Once you take that action, you will finally be able to move toward the life of your dreams and fulfil that mission of yours.
