Even during those moments when you feel as though you are entirely alone, there are divine beings known as Spirit guides who are always with you. These beings chose to accompany you throughout your life, from the moment of your first breath until your last. Spirit guides are highly evolved beings that have completed the cycle of birth and death in the physical plane and are now serving as teachers and guides from ”the other side”. They are as “real” as you and I, and they are just vibrating at another level and reside in another plane of existence.
Spirit guides work to guide you by working with you through your dreams and intuition. That quiet voice you hear can often be the voice of your teachers and guides. They may also make themselves known to you through signs and symbols. For me, when I am at a crossroads in my life or journeying through a personal or emotional challenge, I find feathers everywhere. I also see feather tattoos and birds of prey and will hear certain songs. It is a reminder for me to be still and listen to the guidance of my personal guides.
Some people will have one guide, while others have many. It just depends on the path and purpose of your life. For instance, I know that I have several guides, one who guides me with teaching mediumship and others who help me with various emotional aspects needed to navigate my role as psychic, medium, and teacher here on earth. It’s not a job I could do on my own!
I believe your spirit guide is always with you, whether you choose to acknowledge their presence or not. You can choose to gain a deeper understanding of who they are and what their role in your life is. If you want to know who your guides are, all you have to do is ask.
Create a quiet and comfortable space for yourself and ask that they reveal themselves to you through signs and symbols. Don’t get discouraged if you don’t figure it out straight away. Once you ask, you must trust your intuition. Then, in the coming days and weeks, pay attention to pictures that appear in your mind and the synchronicity that manifests around you. And keep your mind and intuition open.
Working with your spirit guides can be an incredible tool for your own personal and spiritual growth. Unlike physical beings, our Spirit guides wisdom and advice is not influenced by the “world”. They exist in a higher vibrational plane, and your situation’s mundane particulars are irrelevant.
For example, if you seek guidance from your spirit guide regarding a relationship, they will lead you to focus on what you are learning, what you need to learn, what you are teaching your partner, and what is the true meaning of your relationship. The fact that they leave the cap off the toothpaste or are terrible at budgeting the household finances will be irrelevant. The information you will be given will be actions YOU can take to gain more understanding.
You are never alone. Never. Have faith in knowing and understanding that there is so much magic and mystery in our human experience. Just for a moment, let the “world” disappear. Raise your vibration through intention and allow the beautiful gifts of Spirit to wash over you. There is so much more to life than we can see. Open your spiritual eyes and hearts, and you will discover an amazing world of wisdom, beauty, and peace that you never knew existed. It will envelop you in a light of love and understanding and mysteriously transform you into a more connected and loving being.
