You may think that the name “Empathic-Warrior” is a contradiction in terms, striking up conflicting images of someone who hides from the world yet is also ready to face adversity. How is it possible for a highly sensitive person to also embrace their fierce strength? Incredible power and magic manifest when empaths can feel confident and abundant in their power, but it takes regular self-care practice.
When empaths nurture themselves and set healthy boundaries, they become unstoppable and, thus, the Empathic-Warrior is born.
Empathic-Warriors are people who have learnt to champion their empathic skills and can keep feeling focused and empowered, channeling their abilities to help others without there being a cost to their wellbeing. The Empathic-Warriors of the world can inspire others, making them powerful advocates for the positive changes we need to witness in the world.
The journey in becoming an Empathic-Warrior starts with the ability to identify as an empath. Sadly, many empaths do not understand their skills, and their talents remain underutilized, or they manifest in negative feelings such as exhaustion, frustration, anxiousness, and depression. If you experience these feelings regularly, it may be that your inner empath is desperately calling out to you to embrace and own your inner strength.
Your compassion for others, and understanding of the world, is what we need to shift our consciousness and experience an awakening at a global, universal, and spiritual level.
The ability to turn the characteristics of being an empath into a powerful and healthy expression of who you are takes time and dedication. You must nurture yourself to avoid the darker side of being highly sensitive.
Here are some tips for taking the path to become an empathic warrior.
Consciously be grateful every day. Too often, as empaths, we worry about ourselves, our loved ones, and the state of the world. We engage with our fears, making us reverberate at a lower frequency, diminishing our light. As an Empathic-Warrior, we know that we are confronted regularly with stimuli, but we choose not to focus on what we perceive as negative and never catastrophize. Instead, we focus on the beautiful things in life that we must be grateful for and appreciate every moment. When we do this, we feel elevated, and it gives us strength to live as an example of positivity and light.
Trust your intuition. As an empath, your intuition is a powerful gift given to you, but some empaths experience self-doubt regularly. As Empathic-Warriors, we know that our intuition is our greatest ally and will always lead us in the right direction. When we learn to listen to and trust in our intuition, we know that we will be guided on our journey, welcoming light and inspiration into our lives and the lives of those around us.
Take the space and time for solitude. Because empaths often identify with being introverted, they are easily overwhelmed by the outside world. It is essential to take regular alone time for introspection to help process the thoughts and feelings around your everyday experiences. Empath Warriors can bring all their invaluable insights and build an incredible foundation of knowledge and wisdom, encouraging them to become trusted guides within their families, friendship groups, and communities.
Many of us have an inner Empathic-Warrior who has laid dormant, but more and more people have found that this inner fire is waking up and speaking up, wanting people to stand up and join in solidarity. When we go through difficult times in life or witness others suffering, it can trigger our Empathic-Warrior to come out of their shell. An Empathic-Warrior has a robust fire burning bright in their soul and, when nurtured, becomes an inspiring and helping guide for those they care for.
