.”In a forest of a hundred thousand trees, no two leaves are alike. And no two journeys along the same path are alike.” – Paulo Coelho
Our journeys are as unique as each tree in the forest of the world.
How are you feeling during these times? Do you take time for yourself?
Where has your journey led you so far?
We must hold space to nourish our foundations and lives as we find ourselves in a time that can feel quite unsettling and a little like the rough ocean when she is crashing against the shore. This means we must dedicate time to look after our mind, body and soul.
When we have a strong foundation, we are able to handle life with more ease and in a way that leaves us solid and grounded within ourselves. A strong foundation helps us remember that whatever life brings us, we have the tools to keep walking and know who we are in the face of adversity.
The trees all around us have teachings and wisdom to gift us at this time. Please, before you read any further, my love, accept my invitation to take a deep breath or two. Take a pause and close your eyes just for a minute, allowing yourself to feel your breath, your mind relax, and your body soften. So often, we forget to breathe properly. The trees remind us to stop, slow down, be still, and enjoy life.
Now, consider which tree stands out to you more.
The Oak Tree.
The Karri Tree.
The Eucalyptus Tree.
Each has its own wisdom and contemplations, which are here for you; I encourage you to dive deeper into what they mean to you.
Where is the wisdom that you may need right now?
I have been called to share some of them specifically with you as we navigate these times. They remind us that we are not alone and can call on their strength and guidance to help us move more easily while bringing us more clarity and strength in the present.
Oak Tree
Grandmothers, inherent wisdom, sitting in a circle, connection, magic, whispers.
She is an old grandmother tree, and here I will share her wisdom with you to help you feel for yourself.
Take a breath; picture an oak tree.
Ask…
Is she asking you to sit with your back resting on her?
Or is she laying under her, watching her leaves blowing in the wind?
Clear your mind, feeling where the wisdom of the tree is taking you.
Now ask her.
1. What wisdom does she have for you from your grandmothers?
2. What ancient wisdom is running through your body that you haven’t listened to yet?
3. Where are you letting yourself be open to places and people that don’t have your best interest at
heart?
4. Where do you need more strength? ( She can help you connect.) The ancient wisdom of the oak: strength, power, grace.
Karri Tree
The beauty, the bold, the unapologetic, the strength, the love, the endless possibilities, the window to new opportunities, the connection between the worlds.
Take a breath. Picture a Karri tree.
Feel and breathe with the energy of the tree.
Ask…
1. Where am I weak in my foundations for the life I want to live?
2. Where and when am I the strongest in myself?
3. What wisdom do I need from the deepest parts of the earth right now?
4. What do I need to allow more opportunities in my life?
Eucalyptus Tree
Picture an Eucalyptus tree.
Breathe: Breathe into the places that need to be released and move through some tightness. Expand, Embrace the new, and experience Space, forgiveness, and openness.
Ask…
1. Please show me and help me release the grief that I have been unconsciously holding on to.
2. Where do I need to sit today to take a pause and breathe deeply?
3. How can I expand more into myself and my life?
4. Show me what’s possible when I truly let myself have space and expand into what is available.
The wisdom of the trees reminds us to spend time in nature, with our feet on the earth, and in the sacred waters to calm our minds and soothe our souls. To forest bathe is to remember our truth.
The essence of the earth is to remind us of grace; to be graceful is to glide through this life with deep ease and power that comes from the knowledge that you are fully supported in this life and everything around you.
