The art of manifesting your dream life may seem complicated, perhaps even unachievable in some ways. A clear picture and vision that lives in your mind. Does that picture and vision always seem to be in the future?
I’ll be happy when…
Things will be good once…
It will all be easier after…
Are the above similar to the internal voice in your mind?
Our internal chatter plays a crucial part in our creation and what we call into our reality. Suppose the language we are using is directed in the future and the weight it bares is emotional. In that case, we are setting ourselves up for failure.
The key to manifesting your dream life is frustratingly simple. Be present and be grateful for all that you already have.
Let’s loop back to the language we use in our minds and vocalise aloud. The term, “I’ll be happy when….” – on a subconscious level, places the emotion of happiness in the future. It also ties your expectation of happiness to an outcome, meaning you cannot be happy unless you achieve XYZ. By associating happiness with a future outcome, you would be positioning yourself to believe that you couldn’t achieve happiness in the present.
If we continue this and look at a closer example: “I’ll be happy when I win $1 million”. Suppose you were to win that million dollars. Does that position you any better to transition into the state of happiness? Emotionally and spiritually, what has changed for you in this instance? Where does your happiness come from? What does it look like, sound like, and feel like for you to be happy?
The thing to remember is to be present in your current reality. Experience your life in its entirety, in real speed. Be grateful for all that you have exactly as it is—understanding that all experiences that you have are meant for you. To add a new layer and build you to be the person you are becoming.
Only you have the unique set of experiences and skills that you do. If you bypass some of those, you may not be in the position you need to be in to achieve or accept what you desire. Everything is happening for us, to move us closer to where we need to be.
The secret to manifesting your dream life is to fall in love with the life you are living now. Appreciate all experiences and connections accumulated in your life, to make you the unique individual you are.
When we are in the energy of love, we attract more to love. We can then set goals with ‘towards drivers’ that allow us to move towards what we want while being present and appreciating what we already have. When we appreciate what we already have, more things to appreciate, appear in our reality.
Find value in your situation, without giving in to the desire to live in the future and change your circumstances. To be content with what you have is a beautifully simple shade of happiness. Sure, desiring change, growth, and evolution is great and can be productive- check the energy that fuels you towards this. Is your desire for change unconsciously seeking a quick fix? An easy out to your current situation? Allow yourself to be completely honest while reflecting on this.
Own your reality, own your achievements, and equally, your challenges. Take total responsibility for who you are and who you are becoming.
Recalibrate into the energy frequency of gratitude for all that you are and all that you will be.
Life is a journey, and journeys have layers, with twists and turns and magical moments. To manifest your dream life, you must fall in love with life in the present. It may be the simple moments where you are proud of yourself for your discipline in taking the aligned, inspired action towards your dreams. Stay grounded; you are the driver. Is your car in neutral, first gear, or reverse?
Let love lead, and gratitude fuel you. Your dream life can be now if you allow it to be.
